  2. Products from the following categories are eligible for exchange (smartphones, smart watches, laptops, and tablets) for a discount on all products and services at Jarir Books tore.
  3. Each customer is allowed to exchange up to three devices per month.
  4. The service allows up to three old devices to be exchanged for a new device, provided that the new device is equal to or greater than the value of the exchange voucher.
  5. The value of the voucher cannot be exchanged for Jarir Bookstore's gift vouchers.
  6. To complete the exchange process, the customer must be present in person to verify personal data including email, name, mobile number, and national ID/residency number.
  7. The self-assessment pricing on the Jarir website is not final, and the final price will be issued after the customer visits the store and the device is tested by a Jarir Bookstore employee.
  8. The device will be tested by a Jarir Bookstore employee and classified based on the age and condition of the device and its accompanying accessories.
  9. Jarir Bookstore reserves the right to refuse the exchange in the following cases:
    1. There is a personal account on the device.
    2. There is a password or digital lock on the device or a network lock.
    3. The "Find My Device" feature is not disabled for Apple devices.
    4. The serial number or IMEI number is not clear.
    5. The device components are not original or have been modified.
    6. The customer refuses to provide the required personal information to Jarir Bookstore.
  10. Ensure that a backup of files is made and deleted from the device, as Jarir Bookstore is not responsible for any consequences resulting from not deleting the data.
  11. The customer can cancel before completing the exchange process with the cashier. Once completed, the device cannot be retrieved and Jarir Bookstore's exchange and return policy outlined in the purchase invoice will apply.
  12. Once the exchange request is completed, the exchanged device (the old device) cannot be returned.
  13. The exchange voucher must be used at the time of issuance and at the same branch where it was issued. The customer cannot claim it after its expiration and can retrieve their old device if the exchange process is not completed.
  14. Ownership of the device is transferred to Jarir Bookstore upon completion of the exchange process and cannot be returned to the customer. This includes accessories received with the device, such as screen protectors and data stored on the device.
  15. The value of the exchanged device or part of it cannot be refunded in cash.
  16. In the event of a manufacturing defect in the new device, Jarir Bookstore's exchange and return policy outlined in the purchase invoice will be followed.
  17. The old device exchange service is valid at Jarir Bookstore branches in Saudi Arabia, except for King Abdul Aziz Airport and Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz Airport branches.
  18. Jarir Bookstore offers additional support on some products up to 15% of the value of the exchanged device, subject to the following conditions:

    3. The old device was purchased within a period not exceeding 3 years from the date of the exchange process.
