    Functional Arabic Workbook necessity has been brought to the attention since teaching Arabic (2009-2022) as a Second Language (ASL) for all levels at several institutions in the USA, such as Wayne State University, University of Michigan-Dearborn (UMD), and Henry Ford College. In addition, teaching Arabic applied linguistics abroad for more than thirty years at outstanding universities and colleges. These years of experience (1978-2022) are behind the achievements of the author's 25 publications, including three-book series entitled; Arabic for American University Students, which is published by Pearson, New York 2015, in three volumes. Also, the co-authored book entitled; Medical Arabic, published by Routledge, London, and New York 2020.
    Arabic predominantly requires theoretical approaches and a variety of practical works to point out the great concepts involved effectively to build resiliency and foster equity for all learners. Practical works, for their action and reflection, are essential to developing students' language knowledge. Therefore, Functional Arabic Workbook  is designed to be comprehensive in presentation and an integrated source for learners and instructors.
